What? Don’t tell me you haven’t seen the Hard At Work videos on YouTube. Where have you been….oh yeah…playing Call of Duty4…okay. Talking about 4…Episode 4 is my personal favorite. “Accounting, I love accounting 1-2-3-4-5…” It’s a little like The Office with the whole talking-to-the-camera thing. Love it, I’m a big Office fan and can’t get enough. Oh, and if you’ve checked out some of the episodes already, have you noticed all the Alienware in the background. They will neither admit nor deny any affiliation with Alienware.com. Hmmm…. Why are you still here?
Go watch it already http://www.youtube.com/user/itsnotyouitsmetv

If you didn’t already know, there’s a writer’s strike going on right now and it’s ruining all of our favorite shows. One of the biggest of those shows being 24, which has been “indefinitely postponed” and as of right now, will not be airing on it’s scheduled season start date in January. Worse yet is it may not even come back until 2009. Let’s hope this is not the case.
So, in the meantime, the good folks over at CollegeHumor.com have you covered. They’ve put together a video of an “unaired” pilot episode of 24 from the year 1994. As you can guess, laughter ensues. Check it out and enjoy, I did.

Comedy Central’s hit news show The Daily Show with John Stewart kicks off it’s very own online video hub. Looks like they’re trying to get in on a piece of their own YouTube action. The official site at thedailyshow.com has begun hosting all 9 years of content since John Stewart started hosting the show (sorry, no Craig Kilborn episodes). The video’s are not edited for full episodes and can’t be downloaded, yet. They are instead separated into individual segments cut from the show. The video’s are completely free and ad supported.
I’ve tried using the site and haven’t yet had much success viewing videos. Seems it’s either poorly made or extremely popular, maybe a little of both. Anyway, if you can get it to work it is free and freakin’ hilarious.

After the “big” news last week about the hit show Hero’s coming to the network, G4 had another announcement today. It seems that G4TV is finally doing something to show us why they’re a network for gamers. On November 16th next month G4 will start their partnership with Major League Gaming.
I think its about time G4 does some good new original content other than the only two shows worth watching, Attack of the Show and XPlay (maybe Code Monkeys, eh?). Anyway, I’m a gamer and a tech junkie so I’ve wondered for a while why they keep buying crappy old reruns of shows like Speed Lane and original shows like that snowboarding reality crapfest.
This is a good move. Keep up the good work G4.

G4TV has been teasing us for the past few weeks about a HUGE announcement on their flagship show Attack of the Show. Thursday night this week they finally made that announcement, and it is actually pretty big. The extremely successful NBC show Hero’s is going to premiere on G4TV on November 3rd next month. Before this G4 has been known for running old re-runs of old geeky shows, most notably Star Trek and The Next Generation. The best part of this deal is they will be getting NEW episodes of Hero’s season 2.
In addition to the new season 2 episodes, G4 will be airing a marathon of Hero’s season 1. These will hit the network on October 27th and 28th.
