We just recently posted about the Battlefield 2 beta that will be opening. After watching this video I definitely want to get in on it. Pretty good looking stuff going on in the trailer here’s hoping the gameplay is as good as the video.
The part where he uses his grenade launcher to open the side of the building and get a kill was sweet.
Check out the video after the break
While I’m not a huge fan of racing games, Dirt is my favorite racing game maybe of all time. The guys behind Dirt, Codemasters, have a new racing game coming out this summer called Grid. Check out the video after the break. This game looks pretty darn impressive just by the video. Codemasters seem to have it down when it comes to racing games.
In other Codemasters news. Somehow we let a huge game slip through the cracks this winter. A PC exclusive……. DIRTY DANCING the game!!!! All I have to say is “IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!”
Ever dream of having a sweet 3 blade head slicing throwing weapon that becomes apart of you? Well if you do dream of that then head down to your local video game store and pre order Dark Sector. The game comes out March 25th and looks pretty good.
I’ve watched a few videos of the gameplay and the more see the more excited. I’m looking forward to it and in the video after the break you get a little glimpse of the Chromas. These are some pretty hardcore looking baddies.
Ok so maybe this isn’t a new video but it’s still pretty sweet. Plus this ones in English so you can understand it…..well kinda. I haven’t seen this before today and I gotta say “THIS LOOKS PRETTY GOOD”. That’s right I said it, MGS4 looks pretty good. Although my favorite part is at 4:03 when Snake humps the ground. Enjoy the video.
Thanks Gametrailers. Video after the break.

Soul Calibur is in the top tier of fighting games. For my money it is the best. Gametrailers.com has a new teaser for the soon to be released Soul Calibur 4. OH BABY!!!!! The game looks so flippin good I can’t stand it. Yoda’s little part at the end excited me more then it should have.
June 1st 2008 it hits stores. Video after the break.

I call it a rumor, but the guys over at Trusted Reviews seem pretty sure of it. According to them they have a “rock-solid source” that tells them that a 60 GB 360 is on it’s way. It will be replacing the 20 GB 360 sometime before the end of the year.
Is this a new SKU with a Blu-Ray player? We’ve been hearing the rumblings that Microsoft is in talks with Sony about Blu-Ray. Maybe these go hand in hand?
Wouldn’t it be great to have this 60 GB 360 for the price of $299? That would hurt the PS3 a bit don’t you think?
Thanks Trustedreviews.com
This is a new trailer for the upcoming Gamecock Media and Spark Unlimited game, Legendary. Should we file this one under “a good idea done bad?” While I found some of the video to look pretty good it seems to have some problems. I’m interested in the whole opening Pandora’s Box, and what will happen. I know this isn’t a finished product so we’ll see what happens. Watch the video tell us what you think. Video after the break.

What’s big, awesome and getting bigger? MASS EFFECT!! Bioware announced the first DLC packs. It will be available on March 10th for the low low price of 400 MS points or $5 in real money. It’s the first of a series of planned DLC packs that will expand the already huge Mass Effect galaxy.
The first pack called Bring Down the Sky gives us the Batarians alien race. As well as a new uncharted world. The feared and ruthless Batarians hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Guess who’s gonna save the day? Commander Shepard of course.
Check out all of what BioWare’s Chris Preistly said on the Mass Effect forums.
As with most DLC I would have liked to get this one for free but you know companies gotta make money somehow right? $5 bucks isn’t to bad for what will be 90 minutes of extra action. Plus anything that extends my Mass Effect playing time is good.
Oh yea and am I the only one who thinks the Batarians look more goofy then notorious and feared?
The social music revolution
Last.fm is a site filled to the brim with music. It syncs to your iTunes and Windows media player to create a personalized station. Last.fm will play songs it thinks you may like. This will introduce you to new artists. I have Last.fm downloaded onto my PC and prefer playing this rather than my own library. One of my favorite things it provides is the bio of the artist. I like to have some insight into the singer’s life. This can sometimes make or break the song for me. I know, I’m that fickle. Also you can “start a station” by typing in a band. Last.fm will then start playing all songs linked up to that artist. You can share music, create playlists.
And for all the musicians out there, you can promote your music FREE on Last.fm. That’s not all! You can also get weekly airplay stats. Isn’t that incredible! Go already and sign up! And let me know what you think.
Michael Scott said it best; Wikipedia has the best possible information. Do some beg to differ? Will there be a banning of Wikipedia at school? I can understand why. The information on the editable online encyclopedia is unverified and may times be inaccurate. Teachers are encouraging students to steer clear of Wikipedia. But it’s so easy to use. I just can’t help myself. It’s my Vice. Wikipedia turns nice girls naughty. But it has EVERYTHING!
Okay, so Denise Gonzalez-Walker, wrote on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer’s education blog, “It’s a shame that the teachers and librarians quoted in the article didn’t take advantage of the situation—finding inaccurate information on Wikipedia—by having their students revise the Wikipedia site with their own research, or engage in broader discussions about how authority and truth will be staked out in new media.”
Personally, I’ve never edited anything on Wikipedia. What would I add? That’s where I get my facts. Moral of the story? Only Wikipedia knows.
