We’ve heard it all before “MOVIE GAMES SUCK!!!” Unfortunately that is really true. I’ve tried to think of one good one and I really can’t. Maybe the Iron Man game will be good? At least this video looks pretty good. It’s pretty and action packed. Worst thing about the upcoming game and movie…. we will all be sick of the song “Iron Man”. Enjoy!

It’s a good thing I’m not a terrorist hanging out in my terrorist lair because Army of Two would have sneaked up on me and killed me before I even knew what happened. That’s right Army of Two comes out next week on March 4th. I for one was totally caught off guard by it. I’m looking forward to this game and have been since E3, because  it’s co-op based gameplay intrigues me so. Check out the video for the co-op.

Gametrailers.com has added a bunch of new videos for the game check them out.

What do you think? To me it looks pretty good.

Nintendo of America’s head man Reggie Fils-Aime just gave an interview to the guys over at IGN.com about the upcoming US release of Wii Fit. It’s a decent interview in which Reggie reveals this little nugget :

Reggie Fils-Aime: We absolutely will. We’ve seen the core consumer have just as much fun playing Wii Sports as the casual gamer. We expect the core to be thrilled with Wii Fit because it has such a wide range of experiences. It’s more than just the aerobic or stretching exercises — there are quite a number of other mini-games, if you will, embedded in the software that we think will speak to the core consumer.

Nice try Reggie but Wii Fit isn’t for the “core” gamer. Wii Sports is a hit, yea that’s true because it’s about the only sustained fun you can have on the Wii. It also is fun to play with friends. Will Wii Fit be a fun game to play with a group of friends? Only time will tell, but from most of the reports I’ve heard from people in Japan that have it, they say it’s mini games kinda suck.
According to Reggie there are at least 10 upcoming titles that will use the Wii Fit board :

Reggie Fils-Aime: I think what you’re speaking to is, from a consumer perspective, help me feel good about this purchase. There are over 10 games in development that take advantage of the Balance Board. Certainly in terms of ongoing enjoyment, we believe that Wii Fit plus the Balance Board will provide that to the consumer.

There better be something else if your spending extra for it. We will have to wait until May 19th to see. Is anyone here in the states excited about the Wii Fit? Also what other types of games do you think are in development?

Thanks IGN read the whole interview here

M$ as they’re often lovingly referred to on “the internets”, or Microsoft had some problems over the past holiday season. Problems keeping Xbox Live, well, live. The resulting backlash had them release this letter. Basically telling everyone, sorry our service is so popular, blah, blah, blah, we’ll give you a free game to ease the pain. They gave us no real information on what that game was or when we would get it.

So, that day has come, they have announced that the game is… Undertow! Tada. Yay, now we can all be happy and go back to loving big papa Microsoft. Technically they don’t have to do anything, as per their terms of service state nothing about the level of actual uptime or quality of that service. But, being the generous monopoly, I mean company that they are they have decided to offer us Xbox Live Gold customers a free game. All of us, the same game. A game, if you don’t already own, you might play for all of five minutes before going back to Mass Effect or Call of Duty 4.

I’ve heard that if you already own the game, according to Xbox Live front man Major Nelson. He said, “If you have already purchased the game, you can contact support and they will take care of you.” That almost sounds like a threat. I’m sure it’ll be just as painless as it sounds though.

So, when do we get this game? And who gets it? I’m glad you asked. Microsoft has said, “all Xbox LIVE members (Gold and Silver) around the world would have access to a full Xbox LIVE Arcade game [Undertow] to download free of charge.”…”beginning next Wednesday, 2:00 a.m. PST through Sunday, 11:59 p.m. PST, Xbox LIVE members worldwide can download the full version of the recent award-winning Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Undertow.”

Wait, am I reading this right? All Xbox Live Member? Silver to? The people who were effectively unaffected by the Xbox Live outages? Really? Okay.

Why don’t they just give us 800-1200 Microsoft Points, that way, we’re all happy. The people who actually want to buy Undertow can, and everyone else can buy a good game. I’m sure I’m not the only one less than satisfied with this “solution”. What do you think Microsoft should do for Gold Live Members? Let us know. Comment below or post in the forums.

Is Guitar Hero just too much for you? Too hard? Well, the guys over at Jada Toys have you covered with the new Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker just revealed at CES. If you’ve always dreamed of combining your passion for air guitar and actual music with sound and all, then this is for you. It’s a little amp that you attach to your belt along with a “magic” belt buckle, that not only looks totally sweet, but picks up your air guitar strumming skills and converts that into one of ten different guitar tracks.

The thing comes out in March and retails for $29.99. That’s not bad, but I have a pretty sweet air guitar that I got from a guy downtown for a lot less money. Watch the video to see it in action. Wig not included.

Here’s an excerpt from the press release: The Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker features patented technology which includes guitar pics and a rockin’ belt buckle that, when connected to a wearable, mini-amplifier, allows run-of-the-mill rock fans to transform into legendary guitarists. With an air guitar in hand, the user waves the pic over the belt buckle to determine the tempo of the song. The product comes with an Air Cartridge(TM) that features 10 guitar riffs, ranging in skill level from 1-5, including Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water,” Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades,” Van Halen’s “You Really Got Me”, Boston’s “More Than a Feeling,” and five original Air Guitar Rocker freestyle riffs. Users are encouraged to listen to the demo tracks, then try to master the riffs on their own. The product can also be connected to external speakers to really rock the house!

Thanks to GearLog for the video.

“If you’re not careful, your 360 may jettison you out an air-lock. The red ring of death is just the first sign that something has gone terribly wrong and not only will you not be playing any games, your 360 may rebel and simply kill you.” – Splitreason.com

I came across this shirt on Splitreason.com and fell in love. The comment was LOL funny too so I had to include it in my article. Splitreason.com has some pretty funny shirts you can buy. This one was going for $18.95. This site is just full of “gear for geeks and gamers.” So check it out before I red ring you!

Yeah, sorry, the second poster isn’t any better either, unless you like Burt Reynolds. Well, what can you say? The game was never really that good. From what I remember, the first one didn’t even really have much of a story at all, so why not make it into a movie? Also, the title is almost threatening, as if this is just the first of what could be more of these movies. Wow Jason Statham, way to get out of that B-movie action stereotype.

Oh, and if you look real close at the bottom of the poster to the right of the rating, it looks like it’s warning us this is a B-movie.

Burt!

The new video from SpikeTV’s VGAs actually looks like it might be a decent game. At least the graphics look good.

I just bought Sims 2 Deluxe and Sims 2 Bon Voyage (the expansion pack). Sims is one of my all time favorite games. I had most of the expansion packs for the original Sims. And ALL the cheat codes I could find. My two favorites for the original Sims was: Rosebud;!;!;! This gave you money. Tons of money! The other was: move_objects. This lets you delete Sims and refresh them or delete trash, visitors, animals…whatever. I’m still getting the hang of Sims 2. The only cheat I’ve used so far is: motherlode. The money cheat of course. I gotta have the mula! I’m liking the Sims 2. Reason 1, you can have more than one story in your house. I have one house that goes up 4 stories but there’s barely enough room on each story for a bed. Reason 2, the Sims don’t have as much trouble walking around. The AI is better. They can figure out how to get around objects. Reason 3, you can buy a really cool car and drive it around. In the original Sims I use to have to use my move_objects cheat to steal the company car. If you have any cool screen shots you would like to share please contact me or send me a link. I would love to hear from my personal fans since we all know I’m the best CounterAgent ALIVE! Boom!

mountain_dew_dewmocracy.jpg

The new Dewmocracy video (Mountain Dew) is incredible! Visit Dewmocracy, they are asking for our help to create a new Dew bottle, A new Dew flavor and SAVE THE WORLD.

But you’ll have to play the Dew games to do this, it consists of 7 chambers. Travel through these Chambers and complete a series of tasks and challenges. Now, this is the fun way to create a new drink. For example, my first chamber was to speak to the Great Turtle who asked me series of questions then I had an option to choose a flavor. My choice was Cranberrry Raspberry with a boost of Ginseng. One game in the same chamber is a little like minesweeper and the next was driving a cart on a rail while staying clear of falling stalactites. Yes it was cheesy but I’m up for any game you give me. So check it out at Dewmocracy.
