I just bought Sims 2 Deluxe and Sims 2 Bon Voyage (the expansion pack). Sims is one of my all time favorite games. I had most of the expansion packs for the original Sims. And ALL the cheat codes I could find. My two favorites for the original Sims was: Rosebud;!;!;! This gave you money. Tons of money! The other was: move_objects. This lets you delete Sims and refresh them or delete trash, visitors, animals…whatever. I’m still getting the hang of Sims 2. The only cheat I’ve used so far is: motherlode. The money cheat of course. I gotta have the mula! I’m liking the Sims 2. Reason 1, you can have more than one story in your house. I have one house that goes up 4 stories but there’s barely enough room on each story for a bed. Reason 2, the Sims don’t have as much trouble walking around. The AI is better. They can figure out how to get around objects. Reason 3, you can buy a really cool car and drive it around. In the original Sims I use to have to use my move_objects cheat to steal the company car. If you have any cool screen shots you would like to share please contact me or send me a link. I would love to hear from my personal fans since we all know I’m the best CounterAgent ALIVE! Boom!
Not exactly a new deal, but if you want to setup your Xbox 360 through wifi and haven’t yet, it’s worth a look.
Look, Microsoft sells their proprietary Xbox 360 branded wifi adapter for $99. That’s outrageous. A friend of mine recently wanted to get on Xbox Live and didn’t have access to a hard line ethernet connection. Well, $99 is way too much for something you can buy for under $50 most places. It’s just not “Xbox” branded.
So, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Purchase a wifi bridge adapter, also known as a wifi access point (may I recommend this one from NewEgg.com at around $40)
- Then, follow these instructions from about.com on how to actually hook everything up (sorry, I’m feeling kind of lazy)
- Now you should be up and running for half the price of a “Xbox” wifi adapter
- And don’t forget to get your first month of Xbox Live Gold for Free
- Oh yeah, and Boom!

Hope this deal works for you, it worked for me. You stay frugal gamers.

Gamestop actually gives you a good reason to pre-order a game. If you like a good solid rally racer and you’ve tired of Dirt, Sega Rally Revo offers a great arcade rally experience. The game comes out next week, October 9th. Funcoland, I mean Electronics Boutique, I mean GameStop finally has a good reason to say yes to all those nagging requests to pre-order a game. Pre-order the new Sega Rally Revo for Xbox 360 and pay $10 less for it. Just go to GameStop.com here and pre-order before the game ships next week.

First off, this tip is for people who have NOT signed up for Xbox Live yet. If you just got yourself a Xbox 360 or you’ve finally decided to get online this tip should get you 1 month free Xbox Live Gold. It’s very simple.
- Make sure you Xbox 360 is plugged in to a broadband internet connection.
- Turn it on and choose the ’Join Xbox Live’ option.
- Create a Gamertag name and start entering your personal information.
- Once you get to the point during signup where you have to select from: ‘Silver, Gold, or Redeem’ choose Silver.
- It will ask you if you’re sure you want Silver and not Gold. Even if you have a 48 hour trial redemption card, don’t use it. Select yes, you are sure you just want Silver.
- After confirming the Silver account Xbox Live should say you’ve just qualified for a free 1 month trial of Xbox Live.
That’s it, you should now be playing games online for at least a month completely free.
