I love Lego’s! There I said it . Yea that’s right I love em. Nothing brings me back to my youth as all the sweet Lego stuff that flows around the Internet. There are some really good ones and some really bad ones, but as they flow into my feed reader I can’t help but feel warm. So I decided I would make my list of my favorite Lego’s that I’ve run across. Wether it’s an official Lego creation or something custom they are all great. So here we go……
#7 Album Art
I came across this a while ago and thought it was great. The main reason of course is I’m a huge Morrissey fan. But it really is quite inventive. The other covers are done well and are cool. Check them out.
#6 Random movies
I just can’t get enough of these to be honest. The ones I pick are from some movies I love. The little Monty Python figures are awesome they look great. I love the Back to the Future car and would love to see an action scene of the Libyans attacking in the mall parking lot. Back to the Future here. Check out Monty Python.
#5 Indiana Jones
Yea these are new and pretty darn cool. I know they aren’t custom but Lego usually gets it right and they did with these. Saw the Temple Escape one set up at the Lego store and it is sweet!!! Here’s the rest of the set.
#4 Video Games
The Portal and Team Fortress 2 Lego’s are great. Gotta love Halo in Lego form also.
#3 The Lord of the Rings
The battle at Minas Tirith was the best part of the books and the movies and now it’s in Lego form. This is some serious detail work. It really doesn’t fit the scale from the movie totally but it’s still great.
#2 Pirates
These were always my favorite Lego’s when I was younger. It might explain my fondness for pirates even now.
#1 Star Wars
Take my favorite movie, now make that movie in my favorite toy form and I will shriek like a little girl. This isn’t just the sets either. I’m including the video games also. The game is solid fun and very Legoish. Let’s face it a Lego Chewbacca is just cute. All these steam punk Lego creations are pretty cool, my favorite part of the Tie Fighter is the guy
So there you go that’s my list. It isn’t perfect I know but there are crazy amounts of Lego stuff out there. ENJOY!!
