Microsoft’s Zune 2.0The short answer is No, this won’t be killing the iPod any time zune. Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Anyway, the new Zune has finally been revealed and it boasts some much improved features. One of the best new features is the Wi-Fi syncing. You can now sync your music, video, and photos over a home Wi-Fi network. This is something even the newest iPods aren’t doing yet. If you currently own a Zune you’ll be treated to this new syncing feature with a future firmware upgrade. While the Zune probably won’t be stealing many sales from Apple’s iPod line, they might help by offering a solid alternative to Apple’s unstoppable mp3 player.Check out this walkthrough of the new 80gb Zune interface.

For more info on the new Zune line, the Crave blog has a great breakdown of features here. You can also just visit the Zune’s official site, Zune.net.Update: The coolest new feature of the new Zune’s was the wi-fi syncing. However, the latest reports show that in order to sync via wi-fi, you must have your Zune plugged into an external power source. In my opinion this effectivly makes the wi-fi syncing worthless. The fact that you have to have anything plugged in at all makes no sense.Boom!
